Profile

I'm James, a 25 year old designer and graduate of NCAD, Ireland. As you can see from the photos I wear a lot of hats working as an interdisciplinary designer with a strong focus in the digital world, I base my practice on what best suits the message. Be that 3D, print, web-design, filmmaking or just a really big picture of me! I'm looking to create bold fun and deliver thoughtful experiences.

Beyond design I have a strong passion for politics, theatre and comedy. I think communication & understanding is such a rich part of the human experience and to be honest untapped. As a person I want to be that bridge. I'm never going to miss an opportunity to inject some fun into life. The most important thing really is making sure everyone is having a good time.

Independent Design work.
Designed layout and selected visuals for Craiceann Gabhair pitch deck, backed by TG4.
Built Hibernian Law Journal website using WordPress, HTML, and CSS.
Created POS materials for MRCB Dublin.
Production Designer for *Womankind(a)*.
Designed promotional materials for *Noah Barleywater Runs Away*.
Created motion graphics for Butler Gallery’s Jazz Nights.

Graphic Designer

Inhouse Graphic Designer – Cult Collective 2019–2024
Directed the 2019 production of No Exit in the Watergate Theatre to a sold out crowd and unanimously positive reviews.
Created and maintained the Cult Website.
Led the redesign of the Cult Logo.
Designed the poster for the premier production of “The World is my Oyster”.
Developed a series of social media posts and posters to publicise upcoming one-off events including Cult Scratch Nights.
